The major conflict between Elise and Franklin is Amanda. Amanda makes fun of Franklin, and Elise goes along with her. It's almost as if she believes she can't be friends with them both, so she decides to dump her one true friend...... Franklin.

Another conflict, in which Amanda is also in the middle, is the shaving cream plot that Elise and Franklin hatch together..... all to get Amanda back. When they're caught, however, Franklin confesses but refuses to name Elise. Elise's refusal to take responsibility or defend Franklin almost destroys their friendship for good.
