What does Scytale do to Farok and his son? Why?

Scytale murders Farok and his son with poison needles. He then takes the woman away, presumably to kill her as well and take her likeness. Scytale kills Farok and his son to keep his new identity a secret, an identity which he might use to access Paul's fortress.
