In Book Three, Kitiara holds the crown and rules over the dark armies. As Kitiara's power increases, Raistlin claims the tower that contains the world's greatest magical items. This foreshadows an eventual showdown between Raistlin and Kitiara in the next book in the Dragonlance series.
