Who is Prideth from Dragonquest and what is their importance?

Prideth is the beautiful, golden dragon queen. Her rider is Kylara. The bond between the two becomes precarious when Kylara takes up with Lord Meron. Her own desire to mate with Mnementh leads to her battle with Queen Ramoth. Both dragon queens die as a result of the battle.
