Pamphil is one of Yuri's patients, and a soldier in the Red Army. Traumatized by battle, Pamphil is undergoing treatment. When his family comes to camp to visit him, he is visibly happier. Unfortunately, his fear of the White Army leads him to kill them all before they can be killed by the enemy.
