Fautus fills all the requirements for a tragic hero. He is born into a higher social class, and he is a doctor. He suffers from a flaw in his character, and his flaw will lead him to making a fatal mistake. He will find himself alienated, but will only discover his error when it is too late. Lastly..... he will experience the tragic fall from which there is no return, damnation.
