When Ato becomes critical, Eulalie becomes defensive. As an American, Eulalie is somewhat put off by Ato's African heritage. It is Eulalie who brings up the comparison between herself and her American upbringing, and Ato's upbringing in Africa. The couple's decision to return to Ato's homeland to live is both exciting and frightening to Eulalie.... will she fit in.... will she be accepted?
