What is cash?

Cash is carried by Greg through the night of the Valentine’s Day Dance. He has spent months earning the money he now has, and intends to spend it on dinner for Abigail and Rowley. Greg wants to use the cash to impress Abigail, but his plans fall flat when she and Rowley order the most expensive items possible. Greg ends up spending every cent he has on dinner.
