Jacqueline "Jackie", Death on the Nile, is Linnet's friend. She calls on Linnet to see if she can get Jackie's fiance a job. Simon, the fiance, seduces Linnet and they run off together. As it turns out, Jackie and Simon were conspiring to swindle Linnet out of her money. Jackie ends up kiling the maid that witnesses the murders, and Mrs. Otterbourne.
