Who is Guo Qiang from Death of a Red Heroine and what is their importance?

Guo Qiang is Wu's friend. He provides Wu with an alibi out of a desire for political gain. He also helps Wu take obscene photos and participates in drugging and abusing some of the women. Guo confesses in the hopes of saving himself, but he is executed alongside Wu because of his corrupt behavior.
