1) Justyce is arrested for attempting to help his girlfriend in the middle of the night. (pg. 8)

2) Justyce is involved in a debate, which revolves around the Declaration of Independence. The discussion includes race, slavery, and equality. This conflict is both external and internal. (pages 20-23)

3) Justyce and his friends attend a Halloween party, dressed up in stereotypical costumes. Their costumes are not appreciated. (pg. 43)
