On page 12, Justyce says: “I thought if I made sure to be an upstanding member of society, I’d be exempt from the stuff THOSE black guys deal with.” Is Justyce stereotyping?

He certainly is by reducing black people to a group without identity. The term "those black guys" is offensive. It stereotypes them as all having specific personality traits.
