Consider the idea that nice guys sometimes finish first. For all his sarcasm and put-on bravado, Myron Bolitar is a truly nice guy. For example, it is clear from the outset that Bolitar is genuinely concerned for the welfare of his clients. He takes Christian Steele under his wing and attempts to shepherd the young man through the ins and outs of being a commodity in the world of professional sports. Myron negotiates fairly with Otto Burke and the Titans to secure a salary package for Christian Steele that will prove profitable for both agent and client. However, Bolitar's work on behalf of Steele has more to do with integrity than the financial bottom line.
