Jack Slater is an eight-year-old boy that Suze babysits for at the resort. At first, everyone thinks Jack is a whiner and strange. He never likes to go outside. One day, Suze finds out that Jack is a mediator too, which is why he's scared to go outside. Jack looks up to Suze as his mentor, but also as someone who teaches him how to be a normal kid.
Jack is responsible for exorcising Jesse. Maria de Silva convinces Jack that Jesse is bothering and trying to kill Suze, so Jack does it to save her. In the end. Jack helps Father D to exorcise Suze and helps to bring Jess back.
