In Chapter Five, the narrator point of view changes from the first person point of view of Willow to a third person narrator, who focuses on Willow’s story from Dell’s point of view. The author uses this technique to allow Willow to tell her own story, as well as to provide the input of other characters. Chapters Six and Eight, however, are both written from a first person point of view.
