Who is Johnnetta Cole from Composing a Life and what is their importance?

Johnnetta Cole is an idealist. She has, however, also been a radical activist, who speaks out against injustice and bigotry. Cole is an anthropologist, educator, administrator, and an activist. She is also the first black, woman president of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.
