Who is Cassie Bernall from Columbine and what is their importance?

Cassie Bernall was one of Eric and Dylan's victims. She had recently transferred to Columbine High School because she believed she was being led to witness to the students there. Sadly, she had trouble fitting in. It was rumored that she told Dylan she was a Christian moments before he shot her. It was later proven, however, that she was shot without being given time to say anything at all.
