Who is the antagonist in Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel Garcia Marquez?

In my opinion, Angela Vicario is the main antagonist of Chronicle of a Death Foretold. Other possibilities include Angela's brothers, who murder Santiago, or the townspeople, who do nothing to intervene.
