Who is Beetee and Wiress from Catching Fire and what is their importance?

Beetee and Wiress are the tributes from District 3.They are known as Nuts and Volts because of Wiress's odd habit of never finishing a thought, and Beetee's talent with electronics. Katniss befriends Beetee and Wiress during the training period, where they show Katniss a flaw in force fields where a person can see a distortion in the items behind the field. This helps Katniss protect her group from the dangers of the force field in the arena.
