The Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center is the library from which Israel stole three Fanny Brice letters at the beginning of her career as a criminal. It is this same library to which Israel gifted a good deal of money when her biography Tallulah sold so well. When Israel tries to test the bounds of the order restricting her from public libraries placed on her when she pleaded guilty to forgery, she goes to visit this library. Israel is forced to leave the library when she is recognized.
