Maria de Jesus Yepes was a Carmliete woman from Granada that walked barefoot to Rome from her convent. The pilgrimage lasted two years, and the entire time she slept outdoors, living on the charity of other people. She is an example of what happens when people are called to do something that is spiritually great.
