"You've done something to me. I can feel it here. It's like. Opening" (Chapter 5, p. 29).

"What, no more mystical than the songspires? Trees of stone that sing to the rising and setting sun? No more mystical than a gate that opens like a bedroom door" (Chap. 13. p. 102).
