Who is Jeremy Danvers from Broken and what is their importance?

Jeremy Danvers is the Alpha male or leader of the wolf pack. He is the one that finds and raises Clay after Clay becomes a werewolf. Jeremy owns the home where Clay, Elena and he live, which is known as Stonehaven. Similar to Clay, Jeremy is very overprotective of Elena.

In addition to being the leader of the pack, Jeremy also possesses a lot of medical knowledge. When one of the wolves is hurt or injured, it is Jeremy they call upon to assess the situation. Because he is the leader of the pack, all of the other wolves look to Jeremy to make decisions on each matter as it arises in the novel.
