You basically have two separate questions here. I will do the first one but you need to ask the second in a separate post. Brave New World is largely set in the dystopia of New London, a city where everyone is happy all the time. It is set in 2540 ce, which the novel identifies as the year AF 632. AF stands for “after Ford,” as Henry Ford's assembly line.
