Who were the Khoisan?

Noah describes the history of the Khoisan, who he describes as a "lost tribe" of Africans who were "bred out of existence" after generations of inter-marrying with white colonists and slaves imported from elsewhere. The descendants of the Khoisan became the "colored people" of modern South Africa.
