Who is Jim Barnes from Body of Evidence?

Jim Barnes is employed as a social worker at the Valhalla Hospital. He is dismissed from his position because of allegations he's been sexually inappropriate with his patients. Barnes dies as a result of a reckless driving accident on the same day he is fired from Valhalla.
