What is the narrator point of view in the memoir, Blue Nights?

Blue Nights is written in third person limited omniscient from the perspective of the author and main character, Joan Didion. Like almost all memoirs, it vacillates between the perspective of the writer as herself in the present day reflecting on her life, and the perspective of herself as a character in the scene itself as it plays out.
