Aiden from Blood and Chocolate is Vivian's love interest in the novel. Completely human, he captured her attention with a poem he had written called Wolf Change. It seemed as if, in the poem, he understood what it was like to transform. Though he appears to be a rebel and into the occult, in the end he is really just someone who likes to talk the talk. When she changes in front of him, he is terrified and Vivian is crushed.
