Dr. Joseph Bonds is in charge of the Negro Data League, which collects data to prove that more money is needed to collect data. He is also a member of the Committee for the Preservation of Negro Racial Integrity. Bonds ends up as a white waiter in Atlanta and, after burning the Givens' home down with Licorice, goes to work for the Republican Party.
