What is Ku and Gangatom?

The Ku and Gangatom tribes symbolize the intersection between internal and external tensions. The Ku and the Gangatom are enemy tribes, and the tensions between them parallel the tensions within Tracker regarding his heritage. He ultimately chooses to forsake his Ku heritage and join the Gangatom, as he observes unjust brutalities inflicted by the Ku.
