What does Omoluzu represent?

The Omoluzu symbolize the consistent adversity of life. Early in the novel, Tracker travels to the underworld, and the Omoluzu demons there taste his blood and vow to track him endlessly. Thus, at various points throughout the novel, the Omoluzu appear and heighten Tracker’s already considerable challenges.
