Daughter of the Blood is recounted in the third person from several different points of view - primarily, Saetan and Daemon with a few sections that follow what is happening to Lucivar, Surreal, and Kartane. A few other characters have one or two sections from their point of view. The character whose point of view is conspicuously lacking is Jaenelle, the principal character around whom the whole plot revolves.
