What is Laureline

Laureline is an agent of the Spacio-Temporal Agency, and is Valerian's partner. She is depicted as a sexy, beautiful woman. She is somewhat vain, as seen in her attitude when she is forced to wear ragged clothes.

Laureline hates their situation and wants only to get off the planet, but she ultimately accepts that she and Valerian have a duty to help the oppressed people of the planet. Though she initially tries to argue Valerian into leaving the planet without taking any action, she eventually agrees that they need to take some positive steps to defeat the Master. Laureline is the one who realizes that the Master wins against each one of them separately, but that they will be strong if they all band together.
