Specter is a small but beautiful town that Edward encounters during his travels for business. At the time, Edward and Sandra are suffering marital issues. Edward buys the town and falls in love with one of its residents, Jenny Hill. Edward has an extramarital affair with Jenny, but he eventually leaves her and reconciles with his wife, thereby leaving Jenny emotionally devastated.
