Who is Lila from Bad Girls of the Bible and what is their importance?

Lila is the fictional account of Delilah. Lila works in a barber shop and she cuts Judge Sam Nazar's hair each week and gives him a shave. Lila is also having a secret relationship with Sam, yet he doesn't talk about the future and wants to keep everything quiet. Several men offer Lila money if she'll record the things Sam says in his sleep. They believe that he killed someone and want to get a confession on tape. Lila agrees to help them in exchange for money.
