Jasmine represents the Biblical Jezebel. When her husband wants to buy a home nearby, the owner refuses to seel it to him. Thus, Jasmine forges a deed and papers for the house to make it look like her husband is the owner. As a result, the owner takes his own life. Jasmine feels no remorse.
