Mrs. Grealy is Lucy's mother. It is obvious that she is very worried about her daughter, and she visits the hospital every afternoon. Lucy describes her mother as the "Visitor Extraordinaire". Mr. Grealy is also commended for her ability to mask her own fears while encouraging her daughter to be brave.
