What is the theme in Arrows of the Queen by Mercedes Lackey?

Coming of Age is a major theme in the novel, Arrows of the Queen. Over the course of the novel, we see Talia transform, as she grows up, conquers her fears, learns to trust herself, as well as her gifts, and accepts the position she has been given.
