Who is Oduche?

Oduche is the third of Ezeulu's sons. He has been told by his father to attend the church and school of the white man, in order to learn about their religion and other ways. He finds himself questioning the centuries-old traditions of his tribal community, to the point where his irreligious actions set Umuaro on edge, and lead his father to discipline him.
