Who is Matefi?

Matefi is Ezeulu's first and senior wife. Ambitious, sharp-tongued, and domineering, she is constantly fighting to hold on to her status, bullying Amoge and fighting to ensure that her children, including Edogo and Obika, are treated with what she sees as appropriate and necessary respect.
