How are Marxism and Animalism related in the book, "Animal Farm"?

Short might be difficult..... Marxism is a philosophical belief that a perfect society is one in which all people share all material goods equally with everyone else. Old Major represented Marx and his ideals in the novel. From the start, Old Major's dream is a world in which all animals share in the fruits of their labor (socialism)..... and he believed that the leadership or the power of the few was something to rebel against (Capitalism).
