Animal Farm

Do you feel that, overall, the animals were better or worse off once they were in control of the farm?

Had the animals effectively taken control of the farm and fulfilled Old Major's dream, they may have had better lives.... the lives they dreamed of. None-the-less, the animals allowed the pigs, who were admittedly more intelligent, free access to take over. Napoleon was no better than Jones.... in fact, he may have been worse. In essence, they traded tyranny for more tyranny. Their lives did not change, promises were altered rather than kept, and their leader led using fear and violence. The only thing that changed was the tyrant.
