Describe symbolism in Animal Farm by George Orwell

One symbol is Animal Farm is the windmill. For the animals, it is a symbol of modernization.... a symbol of hope, and a symbol of a better life, Unfortunately, the pigs' desire for a windmill is based upon greed and represents a successful way to manipulate the other animals.
