Define scapegoat. Who becomes a scapegoat on Animal Farm?

A scapegoat is someone who is blamed for the wrongs, misdoings, and faults of others. Snowball is the scapegoat in the novel, Animal Farm. After he is exiled from the farm, he is assigned blame for anything and everthing that is questioned or goes wrong.
