What does Belize warn Roy about regarding his AZT?

Belize sees that Roy Cohn is on the trial for the new AIDS drug, AZT. He warms Roy that doctors will make him sign a release allowing them either to give him the drug or a placebo for their research. The consent will be required if Roy wants any shot at the AZT. Belize says that if he wants to avoid the "double blind" he'll need to get his own stash of the real drug.
