What is the author's style in Angels Flight: A Novel by Michael Connelly?

The point of view of the novel is third person omniscient. The author keeps the reader inside the mind of the main character, Harry Bosch, throughout the novel. The reader is allowed an intimate look at Harry's thoughts and feelings, following the clues of the investigation along with Harry. At times Harry is something of an unreliable narrator because he does not have all the information he needs to draw the correct conclusions. However, this unreliability is limited to Harry's knowledge and is not an intentional means of deceiving the reader. Eventually the reader and Harry come to the same conclusions about the investigation as it draws to a close at the end of the novel.
