Piper Williams from Al Capone Does My Shirts is the warden's daughter. She is free spirited and enterprising. It is her idea to use her house on Alcatraz to sell shirts to the kids at school, telling them that Al Capone laundered them. She is a friend to Moose, but he isn't sure whether he likes her or hates her throughout the novel.
