Who is Bheki from Age of Iron and what is their importance?

Bheki is Florence's fifteen-year-old son. Mrs. Curren has known Bheki all of his life and holds him in great esteem. When Bheki becomes involved in activism, his mother brings him to live with her in Mrs. Curren's home in order to keep him out of trouble.
