In chapter 13, what is Jim's attitude to the adventure he and Huck have just experienced?

Chapter 13 is when Huck and Jim come across some truly dangerous individuals. They are both a shaken at the witness of real murderers. Huck, in particular, feels a bit sorry for the criminals, trapped as they are on a doomed steamboat.
