Stuart’s blood alcohol content represents a complication. Stuart’s blood alcohol level is so high that it presents a complication for both Dyer and Ozzie. Even though they do not want it known that Stuart had a drinking problem and abused his girlfriend when he was drunk, it will be hard for them to explain how Stuart was able to operate with such a high level of alcohol in his blood. It complicates their argument that Stuart was a respectable law-abiding citizen.
